Frequently asked questions
In many cases, we can begin within 24 to 48 hours. If you are dealing with a hospital discharge, sudden health change, or care breakdown, we prioritize rapid starts whenever possible.
We provide structured in home support across three core areas: Stability and Transition Care, Continuity Care for aging at home, and Specialized and Complex Care. We also offer Respite and Family Relief to support caregivers with reliable coverage.
We support individuals of all ages, including seniors, adults, youth, and children. Families often reach out when needs involve dementia or Alzheimer’s, mobility decline, post hospital recovery, complex medication routines, or neurodivergent support such as autism and developmental disabilities. These are examples, not a limit. If you are unsure where you fit, we will talk it through.
We start with a care conversation to understand routines, risks, preferences, and goals. Then we build a structured plan for the home and adjust it as needs change over time. No two care plans are identical. You will have your own dedicated mini care team behind you every step of the way!
Yes. We are extremely selective. Our caregivers are carefully screened, reference checked, and chosen for professionalism, calmness, and reliability. We are confident we have some of the strongest caregivers in BC because we build stable teams, set clear expectations, and support staff with structured oversight. (If we cannot confidently staff a situation well, we do not take it on.)
Yes, that is one of our core CareGrowth philosophies. We intentionally build a small, consistent care team around you and/or your family so trust and routine can develop. If someone is sick or unavailable, we will communicate early and send a trained backup who has been briefed on your plan so care stays consistent.
We use whatever communication style works best for your family. Some families prefer a simple email recap after each visit. Others prefer faster updates through text or a WhatsApp family group chat(s), especially during high stress transitions. We can also schedule weekly check ins when care is ongoing. The goal is simple: you feel informed, not left guessing.
Yes. We support complex routines and higher needs situations, including cognitive change, behavioural escalation, neurodevelopmental needs, and recovery after hospital discharge. We bring structure, calm supervision, and proactive planning so families are not carrying complexity alone.
Yes. We support all ages. CareGrowth has deep experience with children and youth who require higher levels of structure and supervision, including developmental and complex needs. We also support adults and seniors with cognitive change, mobility needs, chronic conditions, and aging at home. Our approach stays the same: structured planning, consistent teams, and calm, professional delivery.
We also deliver specialized residential services funded through the Province of British Columbia for children and youth with complex support needs, which reflects the level of structure and accountability behind our care model.

Yes. CareGrowth Family Services Inc. is fully insured and bonded. We carry comprehensive liability coverage and bonding to protect the individuals and families we serve, as well as our team members.
This is part of our commitment to operating responsibly, professionally, and with the highest level of accountability in every home we enter.
Our transition programs are flat-fee so you know exactly what to expect before care begins. Stability 72 is $2,950 and Recovery Week is $4,200. Both include structured caregiver hours, nurse oversight, daily family updates, and a clear plan for what comes next.
For ongoing Continuity Care, most families invest between $6,800 and $13,500 per month depending on the level of daily support required. Our most common plan provides weekday coverage — Monday through Friday — at $9,500 per month. Every plan includes a dedicated caregiver, a written care plan, and a coordinator you can reach when something changes.
Respite and flexible support is available starting at $475 per shift for families who need reliable coverage without a monthly commitment. Families who move to a recurring weekly schedule receive a better effective rate.
For Specialized and Complex Care, every situation is different. We prefer a real conversation so we can understand what's happening and recommend what fits.
We walk through everything during your first call. No pressure. No commitment.
